fake sadhguru jaggi vasudev controversies

Recently, the AP govt proposed to gift sadhguru jaggi vasudev 400 acres of land in the new capital city worth 800 crores. (Deccan herald and DC- The Andhra Pradesh government’s proposed allocation of 400 acres of land near Vijayawada for the development of spiritually-oriented institutions to isha group.)

It seems Mr Jagadish Vasudev aka Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev aka Jaggi has been accused by his own father in law of killing his daughter (Sadhguru jaggi's wife) Vijji aka Mrs Vijaya kumari either by strangulation or by poisoning, in 1997. Mrs Vijaya Kumari was 31 years old then with a 6 year old daughter . Jaggi has escaped saying that she went into mahasamadhi. (Now, which court accepts mahasamadhi and acquits a murderer?).

Mr. Jagadish cremated the body of his wife on the next day itself, hence no autopsy could be performed. Before marrying Jagadish vasudev, Vijaya kumari was working in a bank and was previously married to someone else. After her death, another woman who was involved with them (in the tri-vortex of energy needed to consecrate the so -called dhyanalinga), a certain Mrs. Bharathi divorced her husband and came to live with Mr. Jagadish vasudev.

After his wife died, Mr. Jagadish Vasudev flew to the united states and got himself certified seriously ill to escape the prosecution. He then started rumors about how the consecration of the dhyanalinga made him ill, so that no one would doubt his fake illness.

Mr. Jagadish vasudev has a daughter named Radhe, who is a dancer and she is married to a classical singer and is living a normal, luxurious life in Chennai and the USA, whereas most young women and men in the ashram live as unpaid slave labour, just on 2 meals a day and 3 sets of clothes and hard work to produce products and money for his so called Isha foundation, which many say is just an excuse to get tax exempt status in India and the USA for all ashram activities and businesses. Isha foundation doesnt seem to work much as it is advertised.

Mr Jagadish Vasudev once said that children who go to govt. schools are walking 4 km per day and giving the bus charges (7rs/ day) to the  ashram and that they are very commendable.
Also, while he asks people to live frugally, and donate to the ashram, he and his daughter, and Bharathi etc live very luxuriously and Jaggi has bought himself a landrover, a landcruiser and a hummer apart from other things. He advises people not to drink coffee, but he himself drinks folgers coffee and is seen at starbucks. His family members (daughter, son in law etc ) go to movies, malls, enjoy luxury villa stay with private pool type vacations both in India and abroad, and hang out with friends along with their latest i-phones. It seems that Mr. Jagadish vasudev is keeping them in "miserable" luxuries while the ashramites are enjoying sublime "spiritual" bliss in bare frugality.

He has once said that 3 things should never be commercialized...education, health care and spirituality. He is commercializing all the three as - a) isha home school charges around 6 lakh per annum, b) isha arogya (medicine) products are sold through isha stores and c) inner engineering and all other programs (spirituality) are also being sold to the masses.

He is good with words, but he himself never practices what he speaks. Some people who want to come out of the ashram are threatened from leaving saying that their spiritual progress will be stopped and that they will also affect the lives of many people around them...or something like that. Anyways most of them are in a kind of hypnotic delusional state where they worship their master since he is offering them something intangible like enlightenment, and they believe all the lies he continuously says and defend him and the organization to the best of their abilities.

You can read more on sadhguru jaggi vasudev aka sjv on guruphiliac forums written by ex ishaites. They say that few people were found dead at both his ashrams in India and the US.

This news came in the Indian Express in 1997-
Coimbatore, Oct, 11: Close on the heels of scandals relating to fake godmen getting exposed, yet another ashram from Coimbatore is in the limelight with Jaggi Vasudev aliash Jagadeesh of Isha Yoga ashram at Poondi near Coimbatore, being charged with the murder of his wife Viji alias Vijayakumari.A team of police personnel recently visited the premises of Isha Ashram at poondi and interrogated the inmates of the ashram. Godman Jaggi is away in the US.According to police, T. S. Ganganna of Bangalore (father of Viji) had preferred a complaint with the Bangalore Police suspecting foul play in the death of his daughter Viji. The complaintant had stated that his daughter left him last on June 15, 1996. He reportedly received a message on January 23, 1997, from Jaggi Vasudev, stating that Viji was no more.Ganganna said that Jaggi Vasudev had hurriedly completed the cremation on Jan.24 even before they could rush from Bangalore, raising suspicion about the nature of death. He suspected death due to poisoning or strangulation.According to him, Jaggi Vasudev could have caused the death of Viji to facilitate his illicit relationship with yet another inmate of the ashram. Based on the complaint of Ganganna to the Bangalore City Police on Aug. 12, a case was registered. The Bangalore City Police transferred it to the Coimbatore Rural Police. The Coimbatore Rural Police have registered a case against Jaggi Vasudev under Section 302 of IPC (murder) and IPC 201 (suppression of evidence).

Update- Also he got his daughter married at his ashram in 2014 and invited 6000 (six thousand) guests for the ceremony, some of the guests were celebrities and politicians too...Wonder where did the money come from for the accommodation, the festivities, the food and decorations ?

      1) sadhguru advises from a worldly perspective and not from a spiritual perspective
2)real gurus have their plates full with their own journey and actually do not want distractions from people, but for the welfare of fellow human beings they "help" seekers- yet sadhguru provides his services out of his own worldly self interest.

    3. I had come across one more trust breaking incident on Jaggi where in it had thrown the light upon how he tried to overtake his guru who was then the founder of SSY Science of Silence Yoga : Rishi Prabhakar .
To re confirm : I started comparing both .
Most of the styles used now by Jaggi including the mail templates are that of SSY which is no more

  3. Isha is cult and black magic and jaggie is a black magician
A truly enlightened guru would never seek such offerings and self worship from anybody. SJV has surpassed even the traditionalist vedantists of established lineages who can quote each verse of scripture off hand. In fact such Gurus do not allow others to adore them so much stating; put your faith on god not on the Guru! Isha has become such a pseudo spiritual cult revolving only on one thing, How much $ & adoration comes into the cult leader's pockets !
Like SS, I have also taken a vow, that I will never visit the ashram/Dhyanalinga/Adi Yogi Complex in india again. This is because the same SJV, in the early days of isha ridiculed and made fun of other temples, which people were visiting for ages destroyed their faith and sought their money to build his own Dhyanalinga to attract them to his own temple. Unfortunately people in India did not smell a rat then and even now they cannot!
Unlike others, I only experienced fear/anxiety/ more stress in the ashram and in front of the Dhyanalinga.
And this Adi-Yogi Complex is not the end of SJV's money seeking projects, I am sure he is planning more such projects in different parts of the world to make more dollars like he has opened Isha chains in indian airports. The Followers are really mesmerized/Hypnotised and truly clueless!

the point of my reply to "true seeker's" post is you can tell a tree by its fruits and a religion/guru by its followers

      "like mind attracts like mind"

and the reason people follow corrupt religion/guru is because the people are already corrupted themselves in the first place

We are all connected to the Supreme Energy that we call God/Allah, it is up to each individual to realize that and get connected with. By practicing meditation and having the intation to be connected to our higher selves we can. We don't need special individuals, religious beliefs. We are born knowing that we have the ability, the problem is we are distrusted from early age by parents who want to do their best by doing what society thinks is the right thing to do, teach useless religious views and send us to educational system that is not suited to help us enhance the ability we all have. I don't blame Sadhguru for what he is doing, he has found an amazing way to generate income that's great for him. Truly he is just a teacher just like we each all are. I would like to believe that he has good intentions.
Luck of loving and appreciating self is what usely leads an individual to seek outside of self for guidance, hoping that perhaps he/she will fill complete. We are born with the ability. I love and appreciate teachers like Sadhguru because he is helping me ask myself questions. We are love.

I found this organization beneficial,i'm writing this so that person who truely seeks spirituality may have another choice to try it out.

  13. I came here from watching Sadhguru's heavily promoted videos on Youtube. As my introduction to yoga beyond its Western package of fitness exercises, Sadhguru opened my mind to spirituality and a dimension beyond the physical. However, the more I watched his videos, I started to become skeptical of his "truths."

The fact is that Sadhguru is a wildly inconsistent showman. At one point, he will say stories are nothing more than gossip and entertainment and are not the truth (you can have one, but not the other) but he will repeat the same sets of stories every place he goes. Sometimes he will say life needs no purpose or meaning because life is inherently meaningful and worth living, other times he will say if you do not create and go after your life's purpose, your life is not worth living! It all became too much when I realized he just tells people what they want to hear...But the final straw was when he goes around the world telling his audience that yoga and Isha "technologies" are the only things that will bring inner peace and well-being to the world, even going as far as to say that diseases such as a diabetes, hypertension and cancer can be cured through such practices, but if you want to learn these, you must pay big bucks. It is simply unethical. Since Sadhguru had a profitable business before his supposed enlightenment, he should not have looked at Isha Yoga for any sort of money-making. At least you don't have to pay for a Torah, Quran or Bible! Money and spirituality don't mix, but Sadhguru has built his foundation on selling spirituality. Sure, he must be doing great volunteer work, but that doesn't take away from the fact that the real deal is behind closed doors for those willing to shell out the money. I am not against spirituality. In fact, I thank Sadhguru for opening up this world to me. But I can happily say I won't be putting a single penny in Isha Foundation's hands. If you are careful, you would recognize his own "wisdom" is cleverly borrowed from authoritative Buddhist and Hindu sacred scriptures (including the Bhagavad Gita) which, in yet another apparent lie, he claims to have avoided and not read intentionally. My hope to all would-be and current Sadhguru followers is to to listen to your heart and open your mind. He has some sensible advice to offer and cuts through the Western preoccupation with materialism, but the minute he tells you that the end of your misery lies with Isha Yoga and you must pay up for it, it's time to say goodbye!

I read that its all non profit, and my calls will be amswered by faithful volenteers....where does the money go I wonder....

      Delete
    3. Where does the money go? In the Isha American financial statements available online as a charity, one of the biggest expense items is " other expenses" we are talking hundreds of thousands dollars. In most financial statements this would be a very small amount. Isha Property holdings in the U.S. Are over 13 million dollars. Some money is shown as going back to India but it is small compared to the total income per year in the U.S.
It is surptprising that the US revenue folks do not insist on a detailed breakdown of this " other expense" category?
It seems only fair to know what it is.

    5. Yes very well put, I also have been watching Sadhguru a lot on YouTube and reading his latest book. There are contradictions in his words, ie->I am always in bliss< vs >I am always totally bored< ?. If you want the long expensive road to wisdom, Isha is ready and willing, but it might be a surprise if you discover the answers were just a blink away the entire time.
Former student your advice sounds good to me.

    6. Can you pst a video or a book sentence that exactly confirms your worlds? I attended few seminars and never heard anything like this - that our piece and wellbeing depends on Isha foundation or that you need to pay bunch of money for it. $200 for a seminar of 2days and 2 nights is very minimal. You are provided with lots of great training, delicious food, etc.. They need to pay for rent, equipment, food, materials, people who travel as a leader for the event....Do you guys realize it? To understand these teachings are not as primitive as you describe...maybe you should take longer time and another approach. Why does one need to spoil something good?

    8. No human must be looked down upon and Jagdeesh sir is no exception. Jagdeesh sir thinks that he is superior to all those stupid worthless scientists "marketing" Higgs and Gravitons. Jagdeesh Sir must first make an attempt to understand science. Not to denigrate him, but I feel he needs complete knowledge about something before giving a talk about it. He must also understand that scientists are not marketing, but are doing the real effort to realise the "Self", which I understand as the extremely virtual particles that existed before the Big Bang, Atman as per the Vedas (Refer: http://vedabhasya.blogspot.in/2016/04/aditya-hrdayam-part-37-manas-virtual.html ) Now, his philosophy is wonderful. He says that enjoying the space between particles (state of Shunya) is true self-realisation. While space between particles is enjoyable, so is the money we earn, the work we do, the food we eat, the hardships we face, etc. So is enjoying the space between particles actually "self-realisation"? Jagdeesh Sir further goes on to say that science is spending so much money on trash, which we don't need. While I agree that his philosophy is beautiful, it doesn't make sense with regards to this. Understanding ourselves, what we are composed of the classical/atomic level particles (Vaisvanara), quantum/sub-atomic level particles (Taijasa), dark matter-level (Prajna) and dark energy-level (Shiva) while evolving sustainably by developing materials and services in order to expand our scope of understanding, thus achieving sustenance as well as enhanced ability to evolve, is to me the true Artha or enjoyment. Jagdeesh sir talks so well, but he must understand that Higgs Boson (Vedas call that as Vishnu, refer: http://vedabhasya.blogspot.in/2016/09/aditya-hrdayam-again-part-43-hayagriva.html) is indeed a God particle. His understanding of Yoga as "inner engineering" (Yoga is actually a procedure to yoke body and mind, refer: http://thebigthinkg.blogspot.in/2015/06/the-rational-yoga-sutras.html) is wonderful and hallucinating, but not true. Something which is attractive, but doesn't quite a bit seem to make a meaning. He translates Shi-va as "That which is not" and I don't know how he got that understanding, though it seems compelling. Actually, Shi-va means "That which spreads" or "That which sews/stitches", and Vedic texts use that word to refer to Dark Energy that scientists are trying to understand. His "Dhyanalinga vibration" theory to justify why women shouldn't be allowed into temples is interesting, but against our Dharma which had no temples in the first place and in the age of IVC and early Vedic civilisations (before Puranic/Manu era), women and so-called lower-castes where given as much importance as Brahmin men. I have also received reports of Jagdeesh sir destroying the environment. This is really bad. I think Jagdeesh sir must come out and apologise and plant another thousand trees as punishment. The idea hear is not to malign or denigrate Jagdeesh sir and his sincere disciples. His teachings are really philosophical and interesting, but one drawback: they actually make no sense. The author here should understand that people make mistakes. It is natural. We must turn Jagdeesh sir to the right path and make him understand that he is no rocketscience guru, but a commoner like all of us. We must help create responsible citizens as much as possible out of people like Jagdeesh sir, Ravishankar sir, Ramdev sir, Dinakaran sir, Zakir Naik sir, etc. instead of attacking them, just because they run a fake spiritual/religious/cult business. Eshwaro Rakshatu!

He uses hypnotic mind control to make you give him all of your money and time. He teaches people to turn against their parents and spouses. He tells you not to have sex but killed his own wife because she found out about his mistress. He tells you not to drink coffee but he is addicted to coffee himself. He takes your money and buys himself the best of everything -- cars, helicopter, country club memberships. He destroys your mind and separates you from family and loved ones all in the name of the almighty dollar. He is an evil, disgusting, malignant narcissist as are most cult leaders and has hypnotized you into becoming his slave.

  19. Yup, I stumbled upon his videos recently and got hooked. Everything he says makes so much sense to you and you want to believe it so bad, but if you look closer, it becomes a little more obvious that he isn't the real deal. I have no doubts that he is a smart business man. Everything about his videos and website and image is so carefully crafted. These are the things that stood out the most to me:

    1. He never outright promotes the Isha programs. He talks and talks about how life is supposed to be and quietly stops before he gives any solution, leaving the watcher to their own assumptions of what step to take next.

    - "You know what to do if you want to sleep less? YOGA! Where to learn? Only at Isha!"

    - "Cancer or chronic illness? YOGA! Where!? You already know!"

    - "Other temples have no energy these days! It's time to make temples great again! We have a super-ultra-mega-linga that is like totally high in energy and stuff. Higher than any other temple!"

    2. He likes to talk about himself a lot. He frequently likes to bring up stories of his childhood and his "enlightenment" (aka when he conceived this brilliant business idea). This comes off as very egotistical. His image and name is plastered on every inch of the Isha website. A truly enlightened guru would think of himself as so tiny that his image plastered on a site would be unspeakable. Not to mention that he talks about how there are physical changes in appearance when someone undergoes Isha programs. Where are the before and after pics? I want to see! He even says his face changed drastically after his "enlightenment", but you can find pictures of when he was young and he looks basically the same!

    3. He enjoys his luxuries. Frequently he's riding around on his motorbike with his sunglasses. He wears expensive watches, he wears custom made, expensive outfits that he frequently changes.

    4. He curses and says things like "shit", "bullshit", "crap". Yet, he advises others to watch their language because it has a powerful effect on oneself.

It's very subtle, but if a person that follows Sadhguru is reading this, just take a few moments to view everything with skepticism. If you look closely enough, you will see that he doesn't practice what he preaches. Who am I to say though, maybe he's enlightened and is just this way out of some incredible plan. But, you should still remain cautious because it's incredibly easy to be taken advantage of.

It's a real shame because a lot of the stuff he says is wise and true, but smearing the name of truth under a false guise is the biggest sin anyone can commit. Because of him, I'm sure many people will be put off from the truthful teachings from devoted gurus that came before him due to this scheme. Watch his videos only to find stuff that you find true, but never take part in any kind of program. That's my advice.

If you want to be spiritual look to the past. There's no person that can hide in the past. Look into the teachings of undeniably enlightened beings. What more do you need?

    2. Your comment reflects my exact thoughts. I have learnt a lot for the better watching his videos, but Ive always stayed skeptical. And as I got deeper into this and it's been a couple of months, I notice how inconsistent he is and does rarely behave like an enlightened being.
He is very intelligent and had enough practice to understand what he's saying very well. He has an impeccable strategy to disarm your skepticism by constantly attacking logic, science etc. His teachings work because they are true and have been preached for 100s of years, he adds some charm, Hindu terminology, pseudo scientific terminology etc according to the audience.
Ayn Rand describes the exact same character in the fountain head. I remember thinking maybe she was wrong in this case, because his teachings were working wonders for me. But she was right all along, anyone who constantly attacks your logic and asks you get rid of it cannot be trusted.

I am only interested on what he promotes and that self-knowing through mediation (in my opinion this should be a thought in every school in the world) which helps you focus on your life experiences and draw conclusions on your own. 99% of everything we know cannot be verified. How do you know that the lights on the sky are stars, how do you know that our earth is indeed round? How do you know that we are 7,2 billion people on the planet? He opened numerous yoga classes over the world and spoke at several peace conferences this past few years, and you are accusing him of making money?

  31. During his younger days, he stayed in Mysore, Karnataka, and learnt Yoga from Malladihalii Swamiji. He never mentions about this Guru who well known for his philonthropy. Also, you know another Guru of Karnatak, Rishi Prabhakar, with whom he later trained and stole many of the regimen beginning with even the Prayer and pooja in the end. He never oeven once just acknowledges both the Gurus and therefore he is a Guru brashta which will definitelyaffect him karmically
He invented the term Adi Guru as the original Guru, who knows about Adi Guru.
He says he has never read any scriptures, but quotes from the scripures.
Sex, money and power is akin to Swamijis of today. However, what he says make sense and elevates us beyond the sensual levels. Yes, exhorbitant fees even in India except of the Inner Engineering program, only Rs.2000 for 7 days 3 hours Course. But this is a catch, all the other programmes charged exorbitantly. Yes, he is a meticulous advertisiment manipulator. One day it was a full day (Sunday) in the Inner Enginerring Programe where half a day was spent on explaining about Rudraksha to coax us to purchase them from ISHA. Also, many videos of travel with him, briefs of other costly programmes were shown. Further, he often brings great personalities from all the fields like Sacchin Tendulkar, Ramdev and such other rich people to impress the audience watchings his discurse. Also, all the work is done by the hypnotised volunteers who are the past students.

With all the above drawbacks, he is very sensible and wise and has very good advice about how to live elevatedly beyond mundane life. With his You Tube discussions with all notable personalities, he coes off with flying colours ! So, those interested may attend his first Inner Engineering program and then see if they want to other costly programs. In any way, dont blindly do volunteering, may be one time is OK.

      Delete
    2. I don't think SJV ever pretended or even claimed to be God.

However, the contradiction remains that he professes 3 things never to be commercialized - education, health care and spirituality, and his foundation does the exact opposite!

I have the following questions, rather, his contradictions noted:

      1. Why is every video on Inner Engineering on Isha's website charged at least US $6? The website falsely claims "pay what you want", yet mandates a US $6 minimum! Hello?

      2. Why does he take you till the solution, yet never discloses it? Observe the conversation with Dr. Ben Doolittle (it's on YouTube), where the doctor tries to repeatedly pull him back to revealing the methods and solutions SJG talks about, but the latter manages to cleverly give the slip with wit and diversion.

      3. Why is it that after his spiritual enlightenment at age 25, two years later, he thought it was necessary to get married and have kids?

Unfortunately, these godmen prey on people that are emotionally disturbed, followed by the outgoing category, who are willing to buy in, followed by the rest of the gullible.

The worst of these are Sathya Sai Baba, who blatantly claimed to be God! If that was not enough, "God" forced his institute's students and his devotees into homosexual acts (watch the BBC documentary titled "Secret Swamy"). Our entire political spectrum used to fall at his feet and revere him. The documentary mentioned above shows how grudgingly and egoistically the then Education Minister Murli Manohar Joshi reacts to the interviewer asking why nothing has been done to investigate the accusations.

Such godmen are usually good orators and tricksters, besides obviously knowing their way with the audience.

The truly divine (Adi Shankara or Buddha) never went about proclaiming greatness, nor were in any controversy. They explored and attained enlightenment through meditation. They never asked for funding, or for attention.

Sadly we always tend to seek easy ways out and often fall for scum.

  44. No one is writing trash about him, but these are actual observations.

If you so staunchly believe in him, which itself is against SJV's professions about believing and assuming (!), why don't you answer the contradictions out in the open, instead of spiting people who have questions?

To stomach the truth and "seeking" real answers is one thing, and blindly "believing" is another!

If a person cannot accept criticism, or even provide answers, what's the point in going around claiming you had enlightenment and have solutions for so many things in the world. Did you ever see Buddha do that?

  50. Read this, SURELY one WILL HAVE NO DOUBTS SADHGURU IS FAKE.

    https://www.slideshare.net/mobile/Zaysen2011/sadhguru-jaggi-vasudev-his-enlightenment-and-isha-cult-empire-as-it-is

If i want to prove Sadhguru is wrong yes i too can. We can also prove Jesus, Vivekanada etc. as fake.

I still have many, many doubts on Sadhguru's GENUINITY

For me a person sitting in bathroom, walking on road, watching tv can become suddenly spiritual without his own willing, acceptance, effort or knowledge.

So even if Sadhguru is fraud you DO NOT STOP, till you go beyond the 5 senses.

POINT is spirituality is a personal experience. No two people can have same spiritual quotient.

So if Sadhguru doesn't acknowledge Rishi Prabhakar, SSY, his past, FIND WHY, dont derive conclusions? Sachin is Kambli's best buddy but there is a reason & maintains distance with Kambli.

Even if Sadhguru cant die of Mahasamadhi or killed his wife, i surely know these people just sat and left body at will.

Forget Dhynalinga, any idol consecrated as per certain Temple ARCHITECTURE, (eg: Agama Shastra, there are ways to build temple) has powers.

You just need receptivity to feel it.
I am an young guy, married, goto work, party, fight, argue, watch movies, eat out but i have been also able feel, physically feel reverberations when i goto temples. Not all temples i feel, never been to Dhyanalinga till date. But i feel it in Tirupati, Mahakal, Abhaya Hasta Venkateswara temple, i feel the same vibrations in also few small temples near my home. Just some random PLACES also one can clearly feel the vibrations.

As a proof if i am hallucinating, i asked my wife after hesitation of 4 years. She too confirms she can but she too thought it would be foolish if she asked me.

She works in a IT firm and is like any modern women, very clear pragmatic about current world & reality.

Few of my neighbours, an old lady my neighbour aunty and uncle, & a man of 40 years and his father too acknowledge what i say, when i discussed it with them.
They too can feel energies present in a temple. Infact temple i speak is in a slum area, next to a storm water drainage, highly populated by Christians.

No special seeking or sadhana done by us. We are people like you working in govt, MNCs etc.

So may be dhyanalinga could be fake but deities, lingas, idols, temples are PLACES with POWERS. I was never a seeker consciously, but today i can sense, every time i am in presence of certain energy bodies, my spine shakes, body vibrates, the ecstasy is out of world. It sounds as if i am on drugs or mindwashed. But no, you are on other side of bridge, i am on this side of bridge.

Isha has acknowledged about Auroville building the Dhyanalinga.

    Proof

Proof from Auroville. If Isha wanted to hide it, they could have taken care of this part as well.

  51. I believe that this man, Guru and teacher is e great soul on this planet. However, his western staff is very lousy, and unfriendly. I traveled last year for 17 some hours to see the Ashram, and meet the great teacher. I send notice view weeks before, and arrived on the 17th of feb. 2018. First I had to go to some security, and finally was allowed to enter the property. I went to 4 times to different booth, to register, and every time they send me to a different one. Finally I came to the right one. Standing there arguing to some western guy who told me that they could not accommodate me, as they did not know I was coming. They told me to get some accommodation in some guesthouse 7 km from the ashram. After 20 minutes or so, I got fedup with this guy, and decided to leave. Took my passport and went to Goimbatore airport to go to Delhi. After Delhi to Rishikesh were I stayed for 3 weeks, and was very welcome, to my new Brahmin friend in his ASHRAM. WE BECAME CLOSE FRIENDS AS WE SHARED SAME yoga KNOWLEDGE I NEVER HAD TO PAY ONE PENNY FOR MY STAYING AND HE FELT LIKE HE WAS MY SOUL BROTHER, FROM A LONG TIME PAST. Coimbatore could not even offer me some food, as I was very hungry, and extremely tired. When I wrote my experience on some of there sites, it was removed after a short while. Never go there again, and I do like the lectures from Sadhguru, because I learn a lot from it, but never go there again. At that time I was 70 years of age, and carried lots of stuff to accommodate the poor. Love to go back to Rishikesh, its almost my second home and THE place to learn the true YogaSystem, at Sattya Yoga with a great teacher, Rajeev Tewari.
